Skinny Tan, a fake tan start-up that raised £60,000 on Dragons’ Den, has chosen Manchester digital marketing agency Return to take charge of its paid search efforts.

Originally from Essex, Louise Ferguson and Kate Cotton founded the brand in 2012 with the aim of producing a range of natural, streak-free tanning products that could be enjoyed by every shape, size and skin type.

They also wanted to create a fake tan product containing minimal chemicals.

Since their appearance on Dragons’ Den, the brand has been taken on by over 200 stockists across the UK, including Boots and Superdrug.

“Skinny Tan is such an exciting brand and we are thrilled to be working with them to help the business achieve its huge growth potential,” said Rachel Smith, paid search manager at Return.

Return was also recently handed a paid search brief by another brand, Unicorn Cosmetics.
