Saville Audio Visual, the York-based supplier of audio visual, multimedia and video-conferencing technology, has announced a record set of trading results.
Total sales at the company, which was originally founded in 1876, were up by 12.5% to £34m with pre-tax profits standing at over £500,000.
Managing director John Sills said: “After the last couple of years, it’s encouraging to once again be reporting increased turnover and profitability across our systems integration, video-conferencing and contract service operations.
“Last year also saw an improved performance by our rental and staging operations, with growth in demand for our digital event services and international event support.”
The results mark a return to strong growth for Saville, which underwent a management buyout in the mid-1990s before having to cut costs and staff when the recession arrived.
Last year, it won the Outstanding Contribution to the AV Industry award at the annual AV Awards.
Recent clients have included Leeds United, Tesco and the Yorkshire International Business Convention.
