Rebrand for South Manchester agency behind video content for EA Sports, Man City and Liverpool

South Manchester-based video production agency SOUND&COLOUR has rebranded with design studio The Modern World.

After eight years producing content for clients including EA Sports, BBC Sport. Adidas, Nash Squared, Renaker, Crown Paints and more, the agency took some time to work on its own brand and align it with its vision, ethos and future growth plans.

The Modern World took SOUND&COLOUR through the ‘sprint workshop’ process. Taking the agency back to its core values to produce a strategy that is at the heart of the rebrand.

The production agency focuses on storytelling through video, priding itself on the craft of its productions, and new purpose statement ‘Powerful Content, Perfectly Captured’ was created to concisely capture this.

SOUND&COLOUR joint founders Chris Elliott and Rick Bailey said: “We needed an agency that not only understood our brief but aligned with our ethos. The Modern World were the perfect fit for us. They have become an extension of our team and we’re so pleased with the outcome of our rebrand. It now aligns with the standard of our productions, who we are as a team and vision for the future. It always needed to be more than a logo refresh, it was a positioning piece for the agency.”

Matt Lewis, creative director at The Modern World, added: “Working with the SOUND&COLOUR team has been such a pleasure. They allowed us in and were so open about who they are as a people, what they stand for as a business and ultimately where they want to get to. Our job then was to help them communicate that internally, externally and visually in a way that elevates their identity to the same level as the work they produce.”

The new branding has already rolled out across the company’s social channels and website.
