North East IT firm, razorblue, is to create 25 jobs following a restructure of its business.

The company, which is based in Catterick, with offices in Teesside, Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle is to merge parts of its business to prepare for its “next growth phase.”

“The changes we have made will enable faster turnarounds for clients, improved escalation paths, a consistent approach across all areas of the business and as a result, an improved customer experience,” explained CEO, Dan Kitchen.

“This restructuring has partly been guided by client and employee recommendations, and creates a solid foundation for the exciting plans we have in place for the next three to five years.”

Kitchen said that in the last financial year it achieved 48% growth and remained on track to hit a £20m turnover this year.

The changes mean that its Business Applications unit has merged into the core razorblue company, and the delivery focus teams have been brought together to create one Delivery Business.

It’s merged its project management teams, and placed its Technical Architecture and Presales into a new Technical Solutions Directorate.

Over the last 12 months it has recruited 60 new staff to bring its total headcount to 170.
