The Honey Monster will be returning to television after a £1m investment by new Yorkshire owners, The Brecks Company.

The new advert will air on 3rd September, created by The Gate subsidiary, Magnafi.

Leeds-based agency, Robot Food, is behind the new pack design, which claims “nothing scary in here” to highlight a decision to give transparent nutritional information on their labels.

The Honey Monster’s social media is managed by CreativeRace in Leeds.

“Honey Monster has changed! A new look box, even more transparent labelling, a fresh approach to social media communications, and a magical presence on TV means that Honey Monster Puffs will become more relevant to a brand new generation of Honey Monster fans,” said Brecks Food brand director, Gillian Clarke.

“We felt it was time that Honey Monster made some noise – he’s been quiet for too long.”

Previews of the ad will go live later this week.

Brecks acquired the rights to market and sell Honey Monster products in the UK back in 2016. This was because owners, Raisio Group said they planned to focus on their core market of healthy snacks.
