£180,000 funding round for Manchester software start-up

my2be

my2be is targeting a £1m turnover after completing a new funding round, backed by NorthInvest.

The Manchester start-up has created a mentoring platform, used by the likes of Box and Nextdoor.

“We are incredibly pleased to have raised £180k in total investment with the help of NorthInvest.”

“As a Northern-based company, we are proud to have been given this opportunity through the support of another Northern institution,” said Adam Mitcheson, co-Founder of my2be.

“We want to make mentorship available for everyone and give them the growth culture they need to achieve their goals. Our new ‘self-service’ program, funded by NorthInvest angels will give a different option to our core offering which is more accessible to SMEs.”

The firm will be using the cash to grow its client base and promoting the aforementioned ‘self-service’ program, to help any organisation launch their own mentorship program.

“The team at My2be are doing great work bringing mentorship programs to their international customer base, as well as to businesses right here in Leeds,” added Jordan Dargue, CIO of Leeds-based NorthInvest.
