As the early bird deadline to enter this year’s Prolific North Tech Awards is fast approaching, there are plenty of dedicated categories celebrating projects, apps, campaigns and individuals for 2024.
The final deadline for entries are now officially open until midnight on 20 September for the Prolific North Tech Awards, where we’ll be celebrating all the trailblazing tech-driven work, organisations, teams and individuals based across the North of England and Scotland.
To help you get started on your entries, we’ve pulled together a handy guide to all the tech-driven work and individual awards categories below.
- App of the Year – This category recognises innovative uses of apps in any sector or discipline.
- Web Development Project of the Year – Awarding excellence, tech prowess and innovation in developing a website for a tech business or product.
- Best Consumer Tech – This award celebrates the use of emerging technologies irrespective of sector, designed and marketed for individual consumers for personal use.
- Best Use of AI – If you or your organisation has used AI in a project, campaign or solution and able to demonstrate considerable impact in any sector or discipline, then this category is for you.
- Campaign of the Year – This dedicated category recognises trailblazing marketing campaigns for tech products or businesses.
- Tech Innovation of the Year – Celebrating innovative products, platforms or services that can demonstrate considerable impact in any sector or discipline.
- Tech for Good Award – This category is free to enter and recognises tech solutions making a positive social impact, including but not limited to green technology, tackling the digital divide or making headway into diversity and inclusion.
- Best Green Tech – Honouring projects, products and technologies contributing to the protection of the environment.
- Transformation through Tech Award – Awarding impactful digital transformation projects in any sector or discipline.
- Prolific Tech Leader of the Year – This award is free to enter and will be decided by a combination of judges’ scoring and a public vote. The winner will be a strong role model in the industry who has made a significant, long-term contribution in tech. They might be a leader of a tech company or technology function but will also play a key role in championing technology and technological change beyond their business.
- Prolific Tech Rising Star – Also free to enter and decided by a combination of judges’ scoring and a public vote, this category is designed to celebrate the next generation of tech talent who have shown exceptional aptitude, knowledge and skill in their work. To be eligible for this category you must have under five years of experience in the industry.
