2023 has been a wonderful year at Prolific North Towers, with a host of brilliant sold-out events bringing our community together for everything from large-scale award ceremonies to industry roundtables.
The good news is that the programme for 2024 is looking even more packed, with events beginning in January and running all the way through to December.
Here’s a selection of the events to look forward to in the new year:
February 29th | From Growth to Gold: Scaling and selling your agency
It takes imagination, radical strategic thinking and serious planning to sell your agency.
This event, to take place at the home of our headline partner KPMG, will bring together industry-leading figures with decades of experience in scaling and selling marketing agencies.
It’s an unmissable event for owner/directors of ambitious marketing agencies.
April 15-19th | Digital City Festival
Digital City Festival, the annual event series uniting the digital and tech sectors across the North and beyond, returns to Manchester in April.
Now in its fifth year, 2024’s festival will feature a series of anchor and fringe events across multiple venues.

May 9th | Prolific North Champions Awards
Prolific North’s flagship awards event, the Champions Awards, will return in 2024 with a special awards event on 9 May at Emirates Old Trafford, Lancashire Cricket Club.
Once again we will shine a spotlight on the talented individuals, teams, work and companies across the North’s creative, digital and tech sectors.
There are a host of new categories this year – don’t forget to take advantage of our early bird discount before the entry deadline on 2 February 2024.
May 23rd | Prolific North in Liverpool
After our first ever event in Liverpool in 2023 – to mark the arrival of Eurovision in the city – we’ll be back there in May for a special event.
Full details will be revealed in the new year.
June 25-27th | Marketing Show North
We’ll be bringing a special marketing-focused event to three Northern cities in June, including our first ever event in Newcastle.

June 27th | Prolific North Creative Awards
The Prolific North Creative Awards, recognising creative excellence across the North, will return in June after a spectacular inaugural year in 2023.
We’ll celebrate the top teams, innovative companies, remarkable work and influential people all making their creative mark across the region.

Second half of 2024
We also a series of events pencilled in for the second half of the year, including:
- September: Independent Agencies to Watch will be back for a second year after a hugely successful inaugural event this year
- October: The return of Tech Companies to Watch, identifying a fresh wave of start-ups emerging from across the North’s thriving tech sector
- October: We’ll celebrate the region’s top marketing work and talent at the 12th Prolific North Marketing Awards
- November: Wrapping up our awards season, the Prolific North Tech Awards will identify the rising stars and most innovative businesses in the North’s tech sector
- November: Prolific North Live will see industry experts share the latest trends and insights from across media, marketing and digital
