From celebrating data-driven creativity to the best use of humour, there are plenty of new, special categories that recognise creativity at this year’s Prolific North Creative Awards.
The Creative Awards, first launched in 2023 with the backing of creative experts, is back to showcase more of the region’s brightest and boldest creative individuals, teams and organisations across the North of England and Scotland.
As the final entry deadline of 20 April approaches, we’ve pulled together a handy guide on all the special awards up for grabs this year.

- Creative Courage Award – Sponsored by McCann – Entries in this category should showcase a willingness to take creative risks, address societal issues, or explore uncharted territories, demonstrating a commitment to creating a meaningful impact through courageous and visionary creativity.
- Creative for Good Award – This category is free to enter for bro-bono creative work that has contributed positively towards a good cause or had a positive social impact.
- Creative Technology Award – Whether it’s through augmented reality, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, interactive installations, or other groundbreaking applications, the judges will be looking for projects that harness cutting-edge technology to create truly immersive and engaging experiences.
- Best Use of Humour Award – Calling all creative clowns and witty wordsmiths! The judges will be on the hunt for projects that inject a healthy dose of humour to engage, entertain, and make a lasting impression whether it’s through side-splitting scripts, chuckle-worthy visuals, or cleverly crafted concepts.
