We are delighted to announce Prolific North Champions Awards, which celebrates the very best in innovation, creativity and talent across the North, is returning next year.

As Prolific North gears up to celebrate its 10th birthday in 2023, our flagship awards also return to The Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club on 18 May to help us shift into party mode! 

The Champions Awards continue to shine a spotlight on the remarkable teams, individuals and companies doing incredible things across the North.

Whether it’s championing innovative technology to memorable campaigns, the Prolific North Champions Awards has become a staple of the industry calendar over the past ten years, uniting hundreds of professionals across the digital, creative, media, marketing and tech worlds.

As well as some familiar categories, we are excited to re-introduce a number of categories across the broadcast and media sectors, in recognition of this burgeoning industry.

These will include Broadcasting Programme – Entertainment, Broadcasting Programme – News & Factual, Journalist of the Year, and Video of the Year. Take a look at the list of categories here.

There are a number of new and returning free-to-enter categories next year too including Tech For Good Award, Outstanding Rising Star, Journalist of the Year and Outstanding Contributor to the North.



As part of the awards process, we once again have an industry-leading panel who will come together to rank the entries, compile the shortlist and ultimately, decide the winners who will take home those coveted trophies!

They will include Ben Davies, Group Marketing Director at Praetura; Alex Hamilton, Head of PR & Social at McCann Leeds; Claire Butters, Head of Marketing at Sale Sharks; Mirage Islam, Digital Strategy Director; Caroline Cooper Charles, Chief Executive at Screen Yorkshire and many more.
