Manchester entertainment and leisure destination, Printworks, has announced Carousel as its retained agency to drive PR and social strategy for the venue, following a competitive pitch proces
Carousel impressed with a bold and creative vision for 2025, aligning with Printworks’ goal to cement its position as the UK’s top entertainment destinations. The agency will play a pivotal role in executing impactful media and influencer partnerships, event support and consumer and trade media relations, as well as managing Printworks’ social media channels with dynamic content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
Kristian Brennan, marketing manager at Printworks, said, “We’re excited to partner with Carousel as our PR and social agency. Their expertise in retail and property, combined with a creative edge, will help us further establish Printworks as the UK’s top entertainment destination, delivering unforgettable experiences for visitors of all ages.”
Jen Higgins, Joint MD at Carousel, said, “Printworks is an iconic landmark in the heart of Manchester city centre, and we’re delighted to be appointed as the retained agency. The unveiling of Europe’s largest digital screen earlier this year has been nothing short of spectacular, and it’s inspired our team to take this partnership to new heights.”
The appointment comes during a landmark year for Printworks, which recently completed a £27m investment transformation. With its 16 bars, restaurants, leisure experiences, the largest digital ceiling in Europe, and a Vue IMAX cinema, the venue has already seen a 15% increase in footfall since its March relaunch. A surge in daytime visitors has been instrumental in driving this growth, showcasing the destination’s success in evolving as a vibrant, all-day entertainment hotspot.
