A long-awaited film, documenting Ronnie O’Sullivan’s life and career, centred around the 2022 World Snooker Championship in Sheffield is to be aired on Prime Video.
Made by David Beckham’s Studio 99 production company, the team had exclusive access to O’Sullivan throughout his winning run at The Crucible.
His 7th world title equalled Stephen Hendry’s record and cameras were given special access to film O’Sullivan while he was playing every single frame. It will also feature BBC, Eurosport and Betfred archive.
The film hears from snooker legends, as well as Ronnie Wood from The Rolling Stones and Damien Hirst as they seek to explore his snooker genius, but also the inner demons that have tormented him throughout his life.

“My highs and lows have been well-documented by the media but I felt like now was the right time to do something more definitive – something that I can look back and reflect on as I contemplate retirement,” he explained.
“Going into my 7th World Championship I wasn’t sure I had it in me but allowing the cameras in ended up driving me on in many ways and gave me a different perspective.”
Ronnie O’Sullivan: The Edge of Everything will air on Prime Video on November 23rd and in select cinemas the following day.
