Preston agency rises to Northern Dough Co brief

Preston-based Wash Studio has completed a brand repositioning for The Northern Dough Co.

Launched by husband and wife team Amy and Chris Cheadle (pictured above) in 2011, The Northern Dough Co manufactures a range of pizza doughs available from Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Ocado, Booths and Whole Foods Markets.

Wash Studio’s brand repositioning has now been rolled across its website, social media and packaging, and includes four product sub-brands: The Original One, The Wholesome One, The Herby One and the Fiery One.

The website also includes a How To Guide for the “ultimate homemade pizza” and a recipes section including vegan, vegetarian, kids and “showstoppers”.

Wash MD Lynsey Thompson said: “The Northern Dough Co is a fantastic brand from fellow Prestonians with a great outlook. It has got a fantastic back story of a successful company coming from humble beginnings, through a passion for providing a great product, and we really enjoyed bringing that to life through branding, photography, design and video.”

Wash Studio’s “Turning Petrol Heads” campaign for Hyundai was named Best Broadcasting Commercial/Advertising campaign at the Prolific North Awards 2019.
