Powerhouse has moved into a purpose-built studio building in Leeds as it prepares for growth.
The 14,000sq ft space includes 7 studios, with 9 kitchens, a daylight studio and fashion infinity cove. It also claims to have the largest prop house in the North of England.
The company recently helped M&S to its fastest-ever selling product, with social advertising for its new steak pie.
“Our nationwide clients demand specialist photography and motion services, in an agile and flexible manner. While some campaigns are planned months in advance, increasingly clients need to be able to react to news and events with speed,” explained Neil Adams, managing director of Powerhouse.
“The extra space gives us plenty of capacity to deliver on this ‘newsroom mentality’ – seven photographers can be working on the same project at the same time, in seven different studios, for example. It means the client gets a quick turnaround, while minimising costs and simultaneously ensuring brand consistency and quality.”
The renovations took 9 months.
