Ponderosa has promoted Adam Irwin to the role of Strategy Director.
Irwin has been at the Leeds agency since 2013, initially as a Brand Strategist.
In his new position, he will be responsible for directing, promoting and building the strategy team at Ponderosa.
“Ponderosa has been built on strategy and insight, an approach which means our creative ideas stand out and make a real difference to the household brands that we work with,” he said.
“This is what sets us apart and I’ve worked hard to develop our strategic process, which is all about leveraging our research more effectively. I’ve also been fundamental in devising the agency’s new proposition; Better Works, and my new role on the board will ensure that this proposition stands up in every piece of work that we do.”
This summer, the agency has won work from Puerto de Indias gin as well as handling Hisense’s first UK television campaign.
“We’re delighted to welcome our new clients and are looking forward to them experiencing the Ponderosa way of working. We uncover better insight to inspire better ideas that deliver better results. Adam has been fundamental in creating this way of working and his new role on the board will ensure that this continues to be the norm for the agency and our clients,” added Ponderosa Co-founder, Richard Midgley.
