Beth Cook has joined Leeds-based creative agency Ponderosa as its new Social and Influencer Director as its social department continues to grow.
Joining from Finn, where she was Outreach Account Director, Cook will lead the division and focus on social transformation, having initially worked with Ponderosa on a freelance basis before being appointed full-time.
Previous roles Cook has held include at Bristol-based upUgo and at Cardiff’s S3, which closed in December 2021. She has worked with clients including Innocent, Asda, Velcro, Budweiser Budvar and Vileda.
Ponderosa’s social clients include Morrisons, George Foreman, Russell Hobbs and HiSense. It is part of the Audience Collective, which was formed in 2020.
Beth Cook said: “Ponderosa’s insight-driven approach really attracted me to the agency. It not only has fantastic talent and clients, but also an incredible wealth of experience within its Audience Collective network.
“There’s a clear opportunity to help shape what’s already a stellar team, and I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in.”
Richard Midgley, Founder and CEO at Ponderosa, added: “Appointing Beth brings serious strength to the agency, helping us produce better social and influencer results for our clients.
“We were particularly interested in her FMCG experience and have already seen a positive impact on the team; it’s great to have her on board.”
