Proptech platform, Plentific, has acquired York-based TouchRight Software for an undisclosed sum.
TouchRight was set up in 2012 providing a reporting app for the property sector and is currently used by more than 500 professionals.
“We are excited that Plentific will now take TouchRight on the next stage of its journey. This is a great move for all parties, and our existing customers will benefit from a great deal more functionality as part of the Plentific platform,” said Rachel Lightfoot, who co-founded TouchRight Software, with Terry Lightfoot.
Plentific will now incorporate the company’s technology into its own platform, adding further automation and speed to its suite of repairs, maintenance, compliance and voids solutions.
“We’ve had a phenomenal year of growth, with a Series C funding round helping us more than double headcount to over 200 employees and empowering us to build more client services,” added Cem Savas, CEO and Co-founder of Plentific.
“We have only just scratched the surface of a $2.5 trillion potential market opportunity, and the acquisition of TouchRight will enhance our service to landlords and better enable us to capitalise on this potential.”
The firm has more than 400k properties in its portfolio across UK, Germany and USA. It received $100m in Series C investment last year.
