Pixel Kicks has been appointed by Rope Ladder Fiction to create and deliver a new website. Pixel Kicks won the brief following an extensive round of meetings and presentations.
Rope Ladder Fiction is a Manchester-based independent drama production company that focuses on social inclusion and innovation. It is committed to nurturing the next generation of talent whilst developing bold, character-led narratives. Located at the Sharp Project, one of Rope Ladder Fiction’s most high-profile recent commissions was the return of the much-loved Waterloo Road series which is co-produced with Wall to Wall for BBC1.
The company has secured 38 hours of primetime commissioned drama over the last two years and is also in post production with two short films from emerging film-makers.
Over the coming months, Pixel Kicks will be developing the new site with the launch expected in the first quarter of 2024. The primary aims will be to showcase Rope Ladder Fiction’s core activities and showcase their content.
