Pixel Kicks lands plastic storage and packaging brief

Pixel Kicks has been appointed by Alison Handling, one of the UK’s leading, environmentally responsible and independent stockists of new, reusable and fully recyclable rigid plastic storage solutions.

The brief will see Pixel Kicks become the firm’s retained digital partner and includes SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, hosting and support. Activity will span the main Alison Handling retail business as well as its two subsidiary brands – GW Containers and e-commerce site, Rebox Storage Solutions.

Headquartered in Kirkham, Lancashire, and with an annual turnover of £7m, Alison Handling offers one of the country’s most comprehensive ranges of storage solutions including plastic storage boxes, trays, skips, totes, pallets and pallet boxes, all of which are held in their extensive onsite warehouses.

Its primary target markets are the food, catering, horticulture, entertainment, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, waste management, recycling, healthcare and education industries.

Alison Handling is part of the PPS Group based in Marchington, Nr. Uttoxeter. The PPS Group offers returnable transit packaging solutions and services, including rental, pooling, management, washing and repairs.

Pixel Kicks won the brief following a competitive pitch with four other North West agencies. Prior to Pixel Kicks’ appointment, Alison Handling used four different suppliers for its marketing activities so this will bring all elements under one roof for the first time.

The focus over the coming months will be on pushing out Alison Handling’s expertise and diverse product range, driving enquiries, partnerships and sales, as well as supporting its entry into new markets and maximising all potential revenue channels, including growing its corporate client base. Attention will also be paid to driving awareness around Rebox Storage Solution’s e-commerce functionality.

Jamie Bray, business development manager at Pixel Kicks, said: “Alison Handling is a leader in its field, so we are delighted to now be working with them as their retained digital partner. Our focus is always on helping our clients get closer to their customers and that will be our primary aim as we support Alison Handling to achieve their goals.”

Glenn Broomfield, managing director of Alison Handling, added: “During the pitch process, it became obvious that Pixel Kicks’ mixture of creativity and technical expertise stood them apart, alongside their understanding of our business and what we want to achieve. We are looking forward to seeing their ideas come to life and benefiting commercially.”
