The independent, self-funded, Spinningfields-based streamer’s global animal audience, which admittedly is unlikely to grab the remote and check what’s on Amazon instead, currently consumes around 1,600 year’s worth of content every 28 days – around 14.5m hours of content consumption every month.

Founder Amman Ahmed said of its latest certification: “[It’s] a huge milestone as we close in on three million YouTube subscribers and pets consuming 1,600 years of content every 28 days.”

YouTube describes its certification process thus: “Creator Awards are given at YouTube’s sole discretion and we only recognise creators that have played by the rules. Channels are subject to review before awards are issued. That means rewarding creators that keep their accounts in good standing without copyright strikes, community guideline violations or artificially increased subscriber counts, among other criteria.”
