Ozone expands Irish operation with Mediahuis partnership

Today, Ozone – the Manchester and London-based digital advertising platform built for brands by publishers – announces a new partnership with Mediahuis Ireland that will see its news and media brands become part of Ozone’s premium audience offering.

Mediahuis is Ireland’s go-to source for journalism and news, reaching millions of people every day as the publisher behind some of the island’s most popular national titles, such as the Irish Independent, Belfast Telegraph, Sunday Independent and Sunday World. The digital portfolio includes Independent.ie, Belfasttelegraph.co.uk and Sundayworld.com. Mediahuis also publishes several weekly regional news titles, such as The Kerryman, The Sligo Champion, The Wexford People, The Wexford People and The Corkman.

Adding Mediahuis’ audiences in the Republic of Ireland will bolster the opportunity for brands looking to extend their audience reach. Ozone’s single access point is the Premium Web, the online space where consumers are informed and entertained. This offers advertisers an alternative scaled audience opportunity that is differentiated from other tech and social platforms.

In addition, including Mediahuis readers in Northern Ireland adds to Ozone’s UK audience proposition, which sees the platform reach almost a third of all adults every day: 17.4m individuals, according to the latest PAMCo data released in September 2024.

This collaboration is the latest in a long line of Ozone’s publisher signings, which have seen Mail Metro Media, Pink News, Netmums, and the UK audiences of global publisher Dow Jones, specifically The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, and MarketWatch, join the alliance.
