Opencast has been added to the government’s Digital and Legacy Application Services (DALAS) framework.
It means that the Tyneside tech consultancy will be able to support government departments and other UK public sector bodies with ‘digital, integration and programme application services’, delivering services in user-centred design, software delivery, DevOps engineering, platform development and DevSecOps.
The DALAS agreement is designed to help HMRC migrate its legacy applications to a new “multi-supplier, multi-year framework” in a phased approach. HMRC alone is expected to spent up to £2bn through DALAS over the next 4 years.

Last year Opencast was added to the £4bn digital transformation framework.
