There’s just one week left to get your tickets to Prolific North’s upcoming event on Liverpool’s thriving games hub, where you can expect to hear from a stellar line-up of industry leaders from Lucid Games, Sumo Group, d3t, Avalanche Studios Group and much more.
Hosted on May 23 at Barclays Eagle Labs in Liverpool, Prolific North’s brand new event – Unlocking the Next Level of Liverpool’s Gaming Industry – is designed to connect and inform the games industry about what Liverpool has to offer whilst addressing industry challenges and opportunities in the region.
Following a welcome from Prolific North’s editor, David Prior, we’ll be hosting a panel delving into Liverpool’s rich gaming heritage, the key players in the region today, plus a closer look into what’s unique about Liverpool’s games hub.
You can expect to hear from Phil Owen, Head of Engineering at d3t; Clemens Wangerin, Founder of Digital Advisors; George Rule, Community & Marketing Lead at Lucid Games; Caroline White, Creative Consultant / Community Engagement Manager at the MediaCity Immersive Technologies Innovation Hub; and Christian Bartley, MD at Chillblast.
Next up will be an unmissable keynote talk brought to you by Ben Hughes, Global Learning & Development Manager at Sumo Group. Working at a major video game company, which is headquartered in Sheffield with numerous offices globally, he’ll be bringing his expertise on nurturing and training up talent in the games sector.
Our final panel session at the event will look to the future, looking at what’s next for Liverpool’s gaming sector and how it can level up for the future.
