Sheffield’s Steel City Interactive is celebrating 1m sales of its debut game, Undisputed.
The first boxing title for over a decade moved from Early Access to full release just over a week ago.
“We are absolutely blown away by the reception to Undisputed,” said Ash Habib, Founder and CEO of Steel City Interactive.
“Our ambition remains to create the new benchmark for combat sports games. Surpassing this milestone shows us that we are well on the way to achieving that. This is a great foundation to build on, and there is much more to come with the Undisputed franchise.”
The Sheffield studio employs 70 people and has formed partnerships with WBC, Ring Magazine, CompuBox, BoxRec.
It said it was now concentrating on a new content roadmap and further updates.
