One Day Agency appoints country manager to support Polish launch

One Day Agency is expanding to the centre of Europe with the opening of a new office in the Polish capital Warsaw.

From its new location, the agency aims to continue its fast growth trajectory, providing media buying and planning services for the internal Polish market, the UK’s market for Polish brands and pushing new business into the countries of Eastern Europe.

With its new presence outside the UK market, the agency also aims to consolidate its international clients and revenues, which now reflect nearly 50% of its business.

One Day, a bootstrapped business founded and led by Ricardo Seixas in late 2019, was named one of Prolific North’s Top 50 Integrated Agencies in 2023 and also featured on the is also on its Independent Agencies to Watch list after two consecutive years of fast growth and winning some of the smallest and largest brands in the world, acquiring Grupo Bimbo, BigCommerce, TomTom, Colt Technologies, Polish Tourism Board, Philippines Tourism Board, and many more in 2023 alone, with campaigns running across most of Europe, US and APAC.

CEO Seixas said: “The UK market in its current state has a tremendous amount of friction to enable a bootstrapped business to grow. We all know the pains: lack of talent, ever-rising operating costs, unfriendly tax environment, no grants or incentives for a business this size, crumbling infrastructure, and so on.

“Interestingly, our UK competitors historically only look inwards, to the internal market, further eroding their own business and trampling the market with aggressive tactics. So, we are moving into an external market that has exceeded growth in the last two decades against other countries, where media is still relevant and growing, has fewer barriers, lower competition, and enables faster and more efficient growth. We are bringing One Day’s sophisticated and unique integrated approach to all of Eastern Europe where we have bigger opportunities to continue our fast growth trajectory.”

Switching to a more simplistic outlook, Seixas added: “Why pay £350 to travel to London by unreliable train and infrastructure when we can pay £100 to fly anywhere in Europe? The world is your oyster.”

Anita Puchalska has been appointed as One Day Poland’s new country manager. She added: “As with other markets, Poland has plenty of media agencies offering different approaches and services for their clients but the opportunity relies that it is a growing market that is open to new solutions and perspectives.

The key is to know how to manage all the opportunities and to find the best way to reach the goals since clients now expect efficient campaigns with nonstandard solutions.

“This is where One Day Agency comes in with its experience and knowledge in full-funnel marketing with many high-performing campaigns in such a competitive market like the UK. I truly believe that experience can be exceptionally valuable for Eastern European clients to drive their advertising campaigns further.”
