Allied London has unveiled the first permanent brand for its St John’s development at Old Granada Studios.
OGS Works will be based within the former Granada Studios buildings on Quay Street. It forms part of the wider St John’s Enterprise City development – a collection of workspaces for growing businesses.
“The vision for OGS Works has been crafted around innovation industry, creative invention and above all, a thirst for ideas. We are creating a real eco-system and our space has already become a genuine hub,” explained Michael Ingall, CEO of Allied London.
“The passion here is outrageous and infectious and we can feel that this is going to get huge. It is a third generation space and OGS Works is now going to be the bedrock for a massive expansion of enterprise space at St. John’s.”
The office space is aimed at businesses working in media, tech, fashion, music and retail, so as to create a community of likeminded creatives.
“We have so many cool brands and people based within OGS Works, from freelancers to start-ups and there is already a real buzz and excitement about the space we’ve created,” added Tanya Grady, community manager of OGS Works.
“It is more than just a location for people to work, it’s a place where people can create, socialise and network with like-minded individuals. We look forward to welcoming more brands to our community and watching them prosper here”.
OGS Works will sit alongside Hello Work, a social enterprise brand funded by Allied London.
Enterprise City at St John’s is due to open in March next year, with the first phase centred around the Bonded Warehouse.
