North West agency hires senior leaders from SocialChain and The Manc

The Social Lemon

Social media and talent agency The Social Lemon has welcomed a trio of new hires from the likes of Social Chain and The Manc to coincide with a relaunch of its website.

Founded in 2020 by Dean Lemon, the agency has hired Rebecca Anderton as director of social media and content. Anderton joins from The Manc, where she was head of social media with previous roles across UNILAD and Kairos.

Will Pell, SocialChain’s former editor-in-chief and content lead, is joining as the agency’s senior social media manager. Millie-Rose Burton also joins as social creative, following previous roles at Pubity and LADbible.

Boasting collaborations with content creators, celebrities and global brands, The Social Lemon is preparing to launch a new website to introduce a “renewed structure and offering to better serve its clientele”, set to go live later this month.

As well as the trio of new hires, the agency plans to boost its headcount to 10 by the end of the year.

Founder Dean Lemon said: “We pride ourselves on providing a top-tier service to our clients, so it only makes sense to hire the best talent in the industry. Both Rebecca and Will have incredible experience in the industry that will help us continue to build upon what we’ve already been doing for our clients, so I can’t wait to see what the next few months have in store for us.”

On joining the agency, Rebecca Anderton added: “I’m really excited about the huge potential that the company has to change the lives of content creators who work with us, alongside the potential of changing the lives of the hires/team within the business too. The possibilities and potential are life-changing.”
