Organisations across the North East have combined to promote the region and encourage investment.
One Region. One Sector. One Statement. is the message to promote the region on a national and international level.
It’s being supported by 12 leading business organisations, including Generator, Sunderland Software City, Tech North East, Middlesbrough Digital, Invest North East and Invest Newcastle.
Prior to this, all the organisations were working independently, but will now support a single message, led by Generator.
“The North East is home to a creative digital and tech sector which is growing at a competitive rate and a source of great pride for the region. Individually we all work to promote the region but recognise this can be done much more effectively as a unified force,” explained Jim Mawdsley, CEO of Generator.
“For us to ensure the region is represented in the best possible light, we need to have one unified statement. This is why we came together to produce a resource which can be used to promote the sector nationally and internationally.”
