North East PR consultancy finds a place in the sun

North East B2B comms consultancy MHW PR, has been appointed to manage regional and specialist media relations for commercial solar and battery storage installer AR Power.

Washington-based AR, which manages a complete solar turnkey solution from design to installation for a wide range of industries, is aiming to hit revenues of £10m in the next 12 months and exceed £30m in three years. It is building its operational expertise along with its sales and marketing capacity to drive its ambitious growth strategy.

Newcastle-based MHW will be advising on messaging along with media relations to promote the capabilities and successful projects of this growing company.

AR Power – established in 2011 by husband-and-wife team Mark and Maria Dunville – is the largest and longest established independent solar and battery storage installer in North East England. Last year it was named Contractor of the Year at the National Solar and Storage Live Awards, held in Birmingham.

“Having worked with MHW in the past, I knew their skills and expertise in the sorts of areas we want to raise our profile and reputation. In only a couple of months they have secured, strong media coverage, many featuring back links supporting our SEO strategy.”

Wayne Halton, founder and director of MHW, added: “We are delighted to be securing ambitious businesses like AR Power. It’s a particularly exciting time to be coming on board to support the team as they push for growth. The company is recruiting and seeking a new, much larger site to expand its growing team and capabilities.

“As a leading B2B PR consultancy in the North East, MHW has strong credentials across multiple industrial and manufacturing sectors. We know and understand the regional and specialist trade media, with the latter still playing a vital role in reaching and influencing key audiences.”
