Stephen Bolton has become the new Managing Director of media company, Lancashire Business View.
He gets the promotion as publisher Richard Slater, moves into the role of Chairman.
Rachael Norris has been made Marketing and Events Director, joining Slater and Bolton on the board.
“This is an incredibly exciting time for everyone connected with Lancashire Business View. We see genuine growth opportunities across the county as we look to scale up the business,” said Bolton, who joined the company when it was founded in 2005.
“While our core values, which have served us so well, will remain the same, our appetite for growth through our existing channels and the introduction of new products and services is increasing.”
Norris first joined Lancashire Business View in 2014, initially as Marketing Manager and later adding events management – the media company stages 40 events a year, including the Red Rose Awards.
“I’ve really enjoyed the opportunity to develop all Lancashire Business View’s brands and events,” she said.
“I’m looking forward to my new role as a board director and playing my part in the next stages of the business as we continue to develop our offering and our support to the county’s business community.”
The moves follow Joanne Hindley’s arrival earlier this month. The former MD of Burnley-based Peter Scott Printers is now Sales Director.
“These announcements highlight the strength-in-depth we have as a business as we continue to grow while keeping our focus on supporting and championing Lancashire’s business community,” said Slater.
“Stephen has played an instrumental role in building Lancashire Business View’s relationships and partnerships with companies and organisations in all sectors across the county. His knowledge of the business community is second to none and his contribution to our business is immense.”
