Richard Corderoy has been appointed managing director of Leeds analytics company The Oakland Group.

He replaces Mike Turner, who is stepping down as managing partner after 12 years but will stay on as a senior partner.

Corderoy (pictured) joined the Oakland Group in 2010 and has had responsibility for leading major projects following his earlier career with the Royal Navy, Lloyds Banking Group and PA Consulting.

Turner said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time leading such a wonderful company and I am proud to be handing over the role to extremely safe hands.

“On behalf of all my friends and colleagues at the Oakland Group I am delighted to see Richard taking over the reigns as managing director. Richard has been instrumental in delivering exemplary results for our clients over his past eight years and his passion and enthusiasm for driving the business forward is infectious.”

Corderoy added: “It is an honour to follow in the footsteps of Mike who has led the Oakland Group so successfully with his outstanding knowledge, professionalism and integrity. I am looking forward to continuing his legacy and contributing to a bright future for the Oakland Group.”

The Oakland Group specialises in project-based analytics, process and quality improvement and data management and governance.
