New CEO at Manchester tech firm

Construction technology firm, Open ECX has named Nathan Ollier as its new CEO.

Ollier joins the Manchester company as it seeks to expand beyond construction and into other sectors within the supply chain.

He was Chief Operating Officer at Kirona when it was acquired by Advanced in 2019 and most recently was VP Public Sector and Field Service at the software business.

“It’s a great honour to be welcoming Nathan into Open ECX, and I’ve no doubt he’ll be instrumental in our next chapter. As the digitisation of the construction industry has continued to evolve, so has Open ECX and Nathan’s appointment as CEO is the latest of many exciting evolutions to come for us,” said Open ECX founder, Matthew Jones.

“I have no doubt that Nathan will excel in this new position and will drive Open ECX to new heights, positioning the company in exciting new sectors and utilising his business software development skills to improve our products for our clients for the foreseeable future.”

Open ECX provides cloud-based e-trading solutions for the construction sector, including marketplace, e-invoicing and e-ordering.
