CBBC’s hit football drama Jamie Johnson is returning for a fifth series from Thursday May 7th for 13 episodes.
This year is crunch time for his team, the Phoenix under 16s, as they enter their final year. With Jamie playing the best football of his life, is he set to join a Premier League club, or “does fate have another twist in store”?
“This season will see stories diving into the world of e-gaming, championing women’s football and gender equality, exploring mental health issues, celebrating friendship and team spirit, and following one of our characters on their journey to coming out as LGBT,” the BBC said.
“All this, plus cameos from star players such as Raheem Sterling, Leah Williamson, James Maddison, Jess Fishlock and Dominic Calvert-Lewin and some of the most dramatic football matches ever seen.”
TX is on May 7th at 5pm.
