New awards event celebrates B2B marketers nationally – and there’s still time to enter

As the deadline to enter the STEM Marketing Awards is fast approaching, we’ve rounded up everything you need to know about why you should enter if you’re a B2B marketer.

Prolific North and awards partner Lesniak Swann have teamed up to launch The STEM Marketing Awards, the first awards event dedicated to celebrating the achievements of B2B marketers operating in the science, tech, engineering or maths industries.

Whether you’re part of a marketing team that has driven positive change or if you are behind an effective digital marketing campaign that’s helped to engage, inspire and educate the STEM sector, there are plenty of categories that recognise marketing campaigns, teams and rising stars.

And you don’t need to be based in the North – you can be based anywhere in the UK to enter these awards! The final deadline to submit your entries is 13 September and all finalists will automatically receive a free, additional entry into the ‘Chairman’s Award / Best in Show’ – a coveted award judged on outstanding creativity, impact and results.

By entering the awards, it’s a valuable opportunity to connect with industry peers, celebrate your achievements, raise your profile and, according to previous winners at Prolific North Awards, can even lead to new clients and attract new hires.

There is a fair and transparent judging process at the heart of these awards, with industry experts across the STEM world from the likes of EA Technology, McLaren, WSP and Thermo Fisher all set to join an independent judging panel to compile the shortlist and winners. Check out the rest of the judges here.

Chris Witte, head of marketing at EA Technology, said: These awards can become an important part of the mix in promoting and recognising great people, teams and projects within the STEM marketing disciplines.”

For Jennifer Watkiss, global marcoms lead – digital offerings, WSP, she added: “Marketing in the STEM field goes beyond just selling a product. The blend of technical understanding and deep audience insight required to communicate the value of a complex product or solution to the right people at the right time puts every aspect of marketing skills to the test.

“Awards that specifically recognize this are long overdue, and I’m excited to see the entries that highlight this wonderfully exciting work.”

Make sure you enter here before the final deadline on 13 September. Good luck!
