N Brown has invested in a cutting edge in-house photo studio, becoming the first UK retailer to use Hyphen Interactive Live Photo (HILP) technology.
HILP is an e-commerce photography booth, which can deliver stills, 360 spins and stop/start motion. These can then be converted into online publishing formats.
“This is an exciting step forward in our ecommerce capabilities, pushing N Brown to the forefront of UK online retailing. We now have the ability to offer products to our customers quicker than ever before and can provide improved visuals with 360 and HILP motion product assets to further improve our customers’ experience,” explained Ralph Tucker, Chief Product and Supply Officer at N Brown.
In October last year, the Manchester-based group announced that it was preparing to close all its high street stores and become a purely online retailer.
The studio, which is based at its Manchester head office, was officially unveiled by Jacamo ambassador, Andrew Flintoff. It is the largest HILP studio in the world, with 5 photo booths.
