Production, AV and events specialist MSP Global has invested more than £500,000 in a new state-of-the-art broadcast studio at its Liverpool HQ.
The purpose-built space in Aintree is designed to accommodate all types of productions and presentations, including live broadcasts and streams in a range of formats, and can be tailored with bespoke set design, furniture and props.
The studio is equipped with the latest technology including 4K LED video walls, functionality for single camera and multi-camera shoots, green screen, dynamic lighting effects and comfortable green rooms with flexible space for hospitality, guests, and production office use.
Businesses are able to take exclusive occupancy of the entire space, with an editing suite, production offices, server access, onsite catering, executive bathrooms, private loading bays and secure overnight parking at their disposal. An onsite team of engineers is also available to support clients with a range of pre-production needs and production delivery.
The facility began as a temporary structure during the Covid pandemic and was used by a number of organisations wishing to communicate with their audiences in a safe environment. MSP Global also created an outside broadcast unit for remote shoots. In light of continued demand for online events and flexible broadcast space post-pandemic, the firm has investmented further to make the facility permanent.
Colin Reader, founder and managing director of MSP Global, said: “Our new broadcast studio is a state-of-the-art facility that gives small and larger businesses the opportunity to create the highest quality content for their customers, staff or other stakeholders. Whether it’s youtube videos, podcasts, e-commerce broadcasts, awards ceremonies and training seminars, the versatility of the studio space, coupled with the support of our proactive and talented engineers, means it can be tailored to their precise needs and help them to create something very special.
“The scale of our investment reflects the demand for commercial broadcast and production services post-pandemic and also reinforces our confidence in the Liverpool city region. As a business based here, we are proud to be able to create a facility of this calibre, which we are confident will attract organisations from across the UK to our home city.”
