Simon Gamble, the former managing director of MMA Digital in Manchester has joined Hydra Creative.
He will establish a new offering for the Sheffield digital agency as video production manager.
“Hydra Creative poses new challenges, new people and a whole new portfolio, and I am relishing every moment of it,” stated Gamble.
He joined MMA Digital shortly after it was founded, to head up its film production. In July last year, he was promoted to the newly created position of managing director, when founder and CEO, Dez Derry moved away from the day-to-day business to concentrate on growing the agency.
Hydra marks a return to Yorkshire for him – he previously worked at Impact Films – and he’ll be working across the firm’s entire client base.
“We have seen an increase in demand from our clients for video services, so we felt it was the right time to give more focus to this department. We are so happy that Simon has joined us, with over 10 years’ experience in the industry, Simon will be a great asset to our team. We are excited to see the department thrive under his supervision,” added Gemma Daniels, client services director at Hydra Creative.
