Mighty Giant has completed an animation for NCC Group to promote its new cyber security offering.
The campaign is to promote its Full Spectrum Attack Simulation service, which exposes the weaknesses of a company and then provides employees with help to protect and defend their businesses.
“When this project was brought to us, it was a world we knew very little about, but certainly one we loved exploring,” explained Mighty Giant’s 3D designer, James Thompson.
“We needed something that appealed at Director level, was widely accessible, and would explain the product without being alarming. We spent a long time in the discovery phase with the team at NCC Group to fully understand what they offered, who to, and why, to ensure we got the tone of voice spot on. It was important we also explained the different divisions and services. From this we developed storyboards and scripts, then into full 3D animation.”
The end result was achieved through a combination of character animation, Octane render software, and a range of compositing.
“The team did a fantastic job of interpreting the brief into exactly what we wanted, but bringing their own creative ideas to the table in order to tell a great story and bring it to life,” added NCC Group’s Kate Clarke.
