Internet service provider Metronet will move into new 8,000 sq ft offices in Turing House at Manchester Science Park (MSP).

The company now employs more than 150 people and has 1,500 customers thanks to a series of business wins in the last 12 months.

Metronet has been based on MSP since the company was founded in 2003. The company has moved from the nearby BASE building (formerly Hillel House)m which it had only occupied since last July.

Lee Lawrence, Metronet (UK) operations director, said: “We have experienced rapid growth over the past couple of years and the expansion into this new office offers us the room to continue our growth plans.”

Manchester’s Sheila Bird Group helped design and deliver Metronet’s new space.
