BBC Radio 2 has chosen Audio Always to produce its new weeekday overnight programme with OJ Borg.
After a competitive pitch process, the independent production company was selected to deliver the strand, which will be broadcast Monday to Friday from the BBC’s MediaCityUK studios.
Audio Always, which is based in the Tomorrow building at MediaCityUK, already produces a diverse range of content for BBC networks, including music documentaries for Radio 1 and factual programmes for Radio 4 and 5 live.
Stuart Morgan, director at Audio Always, said: “We’re really excited to be producing Weekday Overnights with OJ. He’s such a great talent, and we can’t wait to launch this new show from our home in Salford.”
The weekday overnights show with OJ Borg launches in May.
