Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day will be hosted live from its new home at dock10 studios, based at MediaCity in Salford, on 18th March.
The show will be presented by Paddy McGuinness, Alesha Dixon, Sir Lenny Henry, David Tennant and Zoe Ball.
The star-studded fundraising night, which showcases the campaign’s fundraising mission to end child poverty, will feature a number of sketches, live music and surprise performances.
It will also feature highlights from this year’s challenges and films about the work Comic Relief supports.
Andy Waters, Head of Studios, dock10, said: “We are delighted to welcome Comic Relief for the live Red Nose day broadcast from dock10 studios, the team put on a fantastic night of entertainment with some of the biggest stars of film, television and music from around the world.
“To have hundreds of people back in the audience and millions watching across the UK is exactly what dock10 was built for, our customers say that the audiences in the North are the best as they laugh louder and clap for longer.”
The show, which will be broadcast live on BBC One Friday 18th March, is inviting attendees to apply to join the studio audience via the BBC’s website.
