Calm Media Investments has appointed North West-based former JOE Media and Fanplayr commercial chief Dave Hendry as head of regional sales.
Most recently, Hendry was regional sales director at Californian technology company Fanplayr where he helped to set up the UK business. He joins Calm MI at an exciting time for the media start-up which has seen significant growth since being founded in 2023.
Through the use of forward investment programmes, Calm MI “creates significant additional value for media agencies and their clients, whilst stimulating incremental ad revenue for media owner partners.”
“There are a number of media hubs throughout the UK, which we’ve only scratched the surface of so far. To really capitalise upon these opportunities, we need market specialism on the ground, which Dave very much brings to the table. Having worked with him previously, we knew that Dave would be a great fit for the type of business we’re trying to build” said Martin Galvin, co-founder at Calm MI.
Hendry is also a former commercial manager of non-league Clitheroe FC.
