McCann Leeds has appointed Tom Smith as Head of Design and Alex Dowlen as Project Manager.
Smith joins after 10 years at Jaywing, latterly as Head of Design across its two offices. His experience spans national and international brands and a range of sectors, including utilities, financial services and higher education.
Dowlen brings a wealth of creative production experience in the premium retail sector. Both will work closely with the existing team to deliver strategic and creative work.
McCann Leeds says its focus in the new year will be on building out its client services and creative teams and adding a senior social and PR staffer to its senior management team.
The agency recently held a free series of Creative Courage Webinars and thought-leadership pieces, which saw them partner with industry experts and leading brands, such as Weetabix, Hermes and Aviva, to champion work that is being done locally and to explore how “creative courage impacted their businesses and careers.”
