McCann Complete Medical has opened new purpose-built offices in Manchester city centre.
Part of the McCann Health network, the medical communications practice has invested in a larger site at Bow Chambers. It previously had an office collaboration with McCann Worldgroup.
It says the new base – which currently has 14 members of staff based there – will offer a “more attractive proposition to city-based medical communications professionals and life sciences graduates”.
It has an existing, larger office in Macclesfield and has hired over 100 people across McCann Complete Medical so far this year, which includes three medical communications agencies (Complete Medical Communications, Complete HealthVizion and Caudex), its Complete Regulatory agency and internal hires in the creative studio and finance teams.
Andrew Berrie, chief operations officer, said: “We’ve come to Manchester, so that talented people can come to us! We will nurture new graduates and experienced medical communications specialists, ensuring careers are built within a flexible, high achieving and supportive working environment.
“As a result of our ongoing business successes we are being bold about our people growth and expansion needs. We are a growing employer in the UK and Manchester gives us a much needed additional footprint.”
The latest move follows office expansion in Glasgow, San Francisco and Chicago last year, and McCann Complete Medical now has established offices in London, Oxford, Macclesfield, Manchester and Glasgow in the UK; New York, Hackensack, Chicago and San Francisco in the US; and Toronto, Canada.
