McCain Foods in Yorkshire, has confirmed that it has awarded its £20m creative advertising account to adam&eveDDB.
The Scarborough-based firm began the process in July, with agencies pitching through Roth Observatory International.
adam&eveDBB will replace BMB, which has held the account since 2006.
BMB was involved in the competitive pitch process, but was knocked out in the first round, along with AMV BBDO and BBH. adam&eve was up against WCRS in the final stage.
“This is an exciting new chapter for our brand and one we are very excited about. From our very first meeting adam&eveDDB have impressed us with their thinking and ideas,” stated Mark Hodge, marketing director at McCain Foods.
“We are really looking forward to working with them. At the same time it is also important to acknowledge and thank BMB for the significant contribution they have made to our business over the last 8 years.”
McCain’s marketing department is based in York.
“We are thrilled to have been appointed by McCain. They are a great business with a great team and we are really excited about getting stuck in,” added Mat Goff, managing director at adam&eveDDB.
