Laura Malins, the former VP of Product at Matillion has joined Manchester start-up, Wilty.
Wilty – Would It Lie To You is an AI-driven deepfake detection tool, which analyses photos and images for deepfake content.
Malins, who has more than 18 years of experience in data management and product innovation, takes up the role of Head of Product.
“Laura’s extensive experience in data management and product innovation, particularly her successful tenure at Matillion, makes her the perfect fit for leading our deepfake detection product,” said Ralph Hardwick, Co-Founder of Wilty AI.
“Her expertise will be invaluable as we continue to deliver cutting-edge solutions across the dating, finance, insurance, and media sectors. We are confident that Laura’s leadership will take Wilty to the next level.”
Wilty says its technology can be embedded directly into a business’s enterprise tools, so as to ensure authenticity and trust, and protect users from fraudulent actives and misinformation.
Hardwick is the former Digital Project Director at Blue Chip and he co-founded the company in August last year.
