Mather & Co has been appointed to create a new attraction inside Manchester Town Hall, which is due to reopen in 2024.
The new visitor experience will tell the story of the iconic building, considered one of the finest examples of neo-Gothic architecture in the UK. Mather & Co will oversee its experience design, content and interpretation.
Sarah Clarke, Managing Director at Mather & Co, said: “We want visitors of all ages to experience the story of the Town Hall using their senses, through discovery, experimentation, hidden reveals, exploration, and play. We don’t want this experience to be a museum, we want to create a memorable experience with personality.”
