Manchester’s BGFG and Agency GMR acquire videogamer.com

Manchester gaming publisher BGFG and its agency arm AgencyGMR have acquired established gaming website Videogamer.com, including its international operations it.videogamer.com and pt.videogamer.com, for an undisclosed sum.

The deal also includes Videogamer.com’s social channels across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and more, and will allow BGFG to build on its gaming offering, dovetailing with the company’s established presence in technology and hardware.

The acquisition should also strengthen strategic agreements AgencyGMR has with key gaming media publishers, such as Gfinity PLC and Gamurs Group, by adding to the cumulative reach of its combined web and social properties and enhancing the appeal of sponsored content and marketing campaigns through them .
