Tech firm Clarus has selected Manchester-based Versori, a provider of integration technology, to bolster its capabilities in bringing scalable solutions to the warehouse management industry.
Clarus, a rapidly growing UK-based warehouse management system (WMS), partnered with Versori to introduce scalable intergrations in its platform to enhance visibility, accuracy, and scalability for modern online brands, while eliminating the integration headaches that have ‘historically hindered growth’.
Founded by seasoned tech entrepreneurs Fred Thompson and Tim Payne, Clarus has always focused on offering a WMS solution designed to address the modern needs of ecommerce businesses but encountered significant challenges in its early stages – missing integrations led to frustrating delays, lost customers, and the inability to scale quickly enough.
“Every time we’re signing up a new customer, there is an integration piece that is critical to that success… Where we didn’t have central integration [losing one] opportunity alone was £350,000.” said Fred Thompson, CTO at Clarus.
In one month of working together, Versori has delivered custom Shopify connectors for over 20 workflows required by Clarus. This solution has helped save time, ‘dramatically reduced costs’, and supported Clarus to focus on accelerating its expansion.
William Jackson, COO at Versori, said: “Through working with Clarus in the WMS space, we are building a scalable architecture that enables real-time data flow and cross-functional automation. This partnership not only eliminated operational bottlenecks but also empowered Clarus to future-proof their infrastructure and move faster toward a fully autonomous supply chain.”
Backed by Y Combinator, Versori was launched by co-founders Sean Brown (CEO) and Daniel Jones (CTO) in 2022.
