Manchester specialist celebrates doubling of staff engagement at world’s largest Ford dealership

Manchester-based engagement technology specialist, Engage, has announced the success of its collaboration with TrustFord, the world’s largest Ford dealer group.

Since implementing Engage’s colleague engagement platform, TrustFord has achieved 100% active engagement across its 3,000-strong workforce, transforming internal communications and enhancing operational efficiency across its 68 locations in the UK and Channel Islands.

Prior to adopting Engage’s solutions, 50% of TrustFord’s employees lacked direct digital access. Engage’s platform provided TrustFord with powerful consumer-grade technology to bridge this gap.

The app, suitable for mobile and desktop, facilitated rapid, real-time communication, as well as empowering employees to voice concerns, ask questions, and stay connected despite working across various locations.

Sharon Ashcroft (pictured), group HR director at TrustFord said: “Our company ambition is to invest and innovate in a changing world, and with Engage we are achieving exactly that. The platform has been a critical asset in keeping our teams informed, engaged, and happy. It’s been an absolute gamechanger for us, delivering outcomes we could have never imagined.”

The Engage platform has enabled the business to replace outdated communication methods, ensuring that all employees, regardless of their role, have access to important information and company updates in real-time.

Phil Wedgwood, CEO of Engage, said: “TrustFord’s success and the transformation they’ve achieved demonstrates the true power of seamless communication and engagement technology. We’re setting a new standard for how businesses can connect with their teams, both during times of crisis and in everyday operations, to create thriving colleague communities.”
